PLY-Miami for Pelican Harbor Seabird Station

PLY-Miami fiber artists love birds! We are making birds nests to assist Pelican Harbor Seabird Station  in its mission to  to comfort rescued baby birds and native wildlife injured by traps, fishing lines, falling out of nests, predators, poisons, and slamming into high rises.

Each nest is crocheted by hand by members of PLY-Miami fiber art guild.
Every $10 donation provides one cozy nest for a small creature and is donated in your name.  Proceeds to Pelican Harbor Seabird Station help fund medical equipment for its hundreds of patients, 213 in 2020 to date.  PLY-Miami uses its percentage to fund Urban Threads , ouor community-based public art project that connects diverse cultures through art making. The Urban Threads project honors Julia Tuttle, Mother of Miami, in a larger than life crochet mural.
