Pluto’s Medical

My Pluto was rushed to the animal hospital. He wasn’t responding. His eyes were open and he was breathing but he was laying on the couch in his own poop and not responding at all. And then I put him down and he couldn't walk. They said he’s in critical condition and can’t breathe well and has a really high fever.

After monitoring and testing;

They think it’s either pneumonia or distemper. I can’t afford everything that they want to put him on. They said he needs to be on oxygen and they need to keep him for at least three days until they get the results back for distemper and I can’t afford it so the other option is to put him down. They said I can’t even take him home because he’s not producing oxygen and he can’t breathe on his own.

I at least want to get him through 1 night to see if he shows any signs of recovery before giving up on him.

He means EVERYTHING to me. I suffer from severe anxiety and ever since I’ve gotten him, he’s provided me with such a huge level of comfort.

I would have never thought to ask for donations but so many people have reached out to donate and I’m so grateful and overwhelmed. I appreciate any help.

I will attach the estimate from the vet. But I know it’s around $1200 a night for 3 nights and we paid $600 for the exams today.
