Pledger's Hurricane Harvey Relief

We’re devastated to see all the destruction brought on by Hurricane Harvey. There are thousands of families affected and seeking help as we rebuild our beautiful state.
One of those families is one that many of you know – Roby, Kristin, and Waylon Pledger (and Ruby and Merritt who will be joining them soon). As you all know our wonderful coworker, Roby, is a landman for Alta Mesa on the Oklahoma team that many of you have had the pleasure of working with. Their home in Baytown, Texas brought in water Sunday afternoon and have been displaced for the foreseeable future. Roby and Kristin have an amazing 4-year old son and are currently expecting twin girls. After a recent complication, Kristin was put on bed rest at 26 weeks. In preparation for the possibility of having an early birth, Roby leaped into action to get their home prepped. They renovated their back playroom, painted the entire downstairs and started furnishing the new nursery. The family also purchased a larger vehicle so that three car seats could fit safely. They were finally getting closer to being baby ready!
After several days of watching the flood waters rise this family had to make a tough decision to evacuate. Roby’s parents, a neighborhood over, seemed like the best place for Kristin to relax and continue her bed rest. Unfortunately, the waters continued to rise and the family had to do a second evacuation last Tuesday afternoon.
The Pledgers are not ones to ask for help, but we know they could really use it right now. Being on a 100-year floodplain and as many others thought before "this would never happen to me", flood insurance wasn't purchased.
Although we cannot totally relieve the Pledgers of the sadness and stress, we would like to take the cost of renovation off their mind so they can focus on their family! The Pledgers have lost most of their furniture, kitchen appliances (kegerator included), clothes, toys, nursery items, and pet supplies (for their farm of two dogs, a cat, and a turtle). The funds raised here will go towards the Pledger’s house rebuild and replacing the household items mentioned above. Anything that was on their first floor is gone, including their personal mementos, photographs, and other keepsakes. While we can’t replace these things, we want to help give them the new start they deserve. Anything you can do would be greatly appreciated! Once our goal is met, we'll be able to present the Pledgers with all of your generous donations.
