Tim’s financial recovery fund

Hello,

I would love it if you took a moment to check out my GoFundMe campaign and story below.

Just about a month ago I was taken to the ER as I was in severe pain and could barely walk. In fact my parents had to carry me out of my apartment and down to the car so that my mom could then get me to the hospital. Was admitted later that day only knowing something was up with my spine. Went through all kinds of tests including 2 mri’s. Finally a neurologist said they were pretty sure it was Guillain–Barré syndrome but wouldn’t say it was definite. Spent a week and a half at Lansdale Hospital. During that time I went through a 5 day treatment and didn’t get any better and lost the ability to walk let alone be able to bare any weight on my own 2 feet. Finally after some help (from a nice lady who works at the hospital) I got transferred to Abington Hospital. After 2 days here I spoke to a neurologist and he officially diagnosed me with Guillain–Barré syndrome. It was a relief to finally know for a fact what was wrong with me! I had another round of a 5 day treatment, was put on proper medicine and finally got my pain under control. I started physical therapy and from the wonderful people there I am able to walk again but with a walker. Almost 2 weeks later I’ve made great progress but still have a long road of recovery ahead of me. Due to my illness it could take months or even up to a year before I may be 100% recovered. Obviously I’ve been out of work, in fact haven’t worked a day yet this year and who knows how much longer it’ll be till I can work again. As some of you know I’m a single father doing my best raising my wonderful son on my own and have rent and bills to pay. I’m hoping I’ll get some type of medical help for the medical bills so all I’m asking help with is for our rent and monthly bills while I’m out of work. Anything will help and I’m grateful to anyone that can donate for my son and I! I’m taking this day by day and working with great people that care to keep me heading in a positive direction. It’s all I can do so that I can get better to once again be able to provide for myself and my son no matter how long it takes. So please, again any donation no matter the size is greatly appreciated to help my recovery and help my son’s daddy get back on his feet to a full recovery without the added stress of financial fallback. Hoping to be discharged soon so that I can see my son on a daily basis again which I’ve missed dearly and continue with outpatient physical therapy on a positive road to recovery!

Your support would mean a lot to me. Please share with your friends and family as well. We (my son and I) would be extremely grateful! Thank you so much!

I want to also bring this to your attention if you do decide to be generous and make a donation...
