Rebekah needs a little help!

I'm reaching out to you all because my awesome daughter needs help finishing her journey in becoming one of the few African-American Women in Genetic Counseling. Hello family, friends & Go FundMe Patrons I've recently been presented with an unique opportunity & am in need of a little financial assistance. I'm currently in Graduate School at Sarah Lawrence College in the Human Genetics Program, a Genetic Counselor training program. As apart of our training we're required to practice genetic counseling in a clinical setting for 8 to 10 wks in the summer. I was given permission to complete my summer rotation at the Fetal Diagonostic Institute of the Pacific in Honolulu, Hawaii. It has always been a dream to one day visit Hawaii, so it should come as no surprise that I'm beyond excited to be presented with an opportunity to practice my future career there! Being that I'll be in Hawaii from May 23rd to July 28th funds are needed by late May. Unfortunately, my school doesn't offer funds for summer rotations. I, myself, have paid for my roundtrip ticket & half of my lodging for the time I'll be there. However, I'm still in need of money to cover the other half of lodging, food & transportation while in Hawaii.  No amount is too little because however much you can help will bridge the gap in funding my trip and is greatly appreciated!
