Nearly twelve years ago my fight for justice and equality began. My sons have endured turmoil beyond their years. Sean and David are turning 15 and 13. Were still fighting the good fight in spite of a broken system and the boys' mentally unstable father.
Being a young mother, in an abusive relationship, I vowed to be the very best mother I could be, even if separating from their father was the only option. Since that fateful day he has punished me the only effective way he could , through the love of my boys.
Despite their experiences, they have become great young men with strong faith. David (13) has already taken the ACT and Sean (15) is in all advanced courses. Both are anticipating serving their country.
We have been in and out of court over the years, with mediators, guardians ad litem, and counselors. We are set to do it again in the next few months. Still having debt from the last round of court, I am unable to financially do it anymore. I am a full time employee providing my boys with the day to day necessities so please be assured that ALL monies donated will go to the following:
* LAWYER FEES
* APPOINTED GUARDIAN AD LITEM (LAWYER FOR THE BOYS)
* APPOINTED COUNSELOR
* MEDIATION
