<div>On September 28th, I was in a car accident that completely changed my life. I left the hospital with fractured ribs, a sprained ankle, and a broken finger, and I’m now facing 3 to 5 months of recovery before I can return to work.

<div>Without disability insurance or another source of income, covering the rent for both my business and home, along with bills and groceries, has become very difficult. I also help care for my 80-year-old mother in Nicaragua, who is recovering from hip surgery and depends on me for her support.
