<div>We are Feuerbohne, we are a small bioladen collective/cooperative primarily queer, trans migrant BIPOC workers.
</div>

<div>We run a small local organic food store to our local neighborhood, we are run non hierarchically and attempt to have solidarity with other collectivist and marginalized communities where we can and have been around for almost 10 years.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We also do our best to make bio food as accessible as possible with have a reduced solidarity price for our customers who cannot afford.
</div>

</div>
<div>Surviving this long in unstable times  has been a challenge, but we've done our best while also trying to maintain our values of having solidarity with other collectives, queers, migrants and bipocs. 
</div>

</div>
<div>At our start we were a majority straight white collective and now are majority queer trans bipoc and migrant. It has been important for us to hire people from more marginalised backgrounds to redress racist queer and transphobic hiring practices while also ensuring a feeling of more safety for the existing bipoc, migrant, queer and trans members. Those of us who have more precarious backgrounds would for sure have experienced so much more harm and exploitation where it not for the bioladen. During the 10 years it has been a place for from many queer, trans, bipoc, migrants workers to have somewhere to work while they build more secure futures for themselves.

<div>However what we have seen is with less whites members in our collective  we have less resources and have face more insecurity.
</div>

</div>
<div>This coupled with increase in cost of living  we currently are in an existential crisis and on the verge of closing down.
</div>

</div>
<div>Like everywhere our prices have gone up but big national stores like Bio Company and Denns can afford to artificially keep their prices down were as smaller independent  stores like ours cannot. As such they will survive this crisis until things stabilise (which is pretty typical of boom and boost economics/turbo capitalism we live in sadly).During this time  small independent stores like ours go bust leaving them a monopoly over customers in the area. With their monopoly they can do what they want with prices, and treat workers how they want also.

<div>We have put as many strategies in place to help, from reducing the numbers workers on a shift to some workers, who can afford to, not claiming their wage until there is more stability and many more. These have been difficult and painful at times (lol just ask our lower backs!) but we have done because we believe in the value and meaning of the shop!
</div>

</div>
<div>Already so many collectives are struggling in Berlin we know of some that have very sadly had to close.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But with your help we can weather this storm! Raising this money will allow us to survive. Specifically the summer months we always have reduced income because families go away for the summer break. This was never an issue because we always built surplus to allow us to survive, but alas this has not been possible this year. The sum we are raising will make sure we able to to pay:

<div> Es war eine Herausforderung, so lange in instabilen Zeiten zu

<div> überleben, aber wir haben unser Bestes getan und gleichzeitig

<div> versucht weiterhin in solidarisch mit anderen Kollektiven,

<div> Queers, Migrant*innen und BIPOCs zu bleiben.

<div> Zu Beginn waren wir ein mehrheitlich hetero, weißes Kollektiv
</div>
<div> und  sind nun mehrheitlich queer, trans, BIPOC und migrantisch.
</div>
<div> Es war wichtig für uns, Menschen mit marginalisierteren Backgrounds
</div>
<div> einzustellen, um rassistischen, queer - und transfeindlichen
</div>
<div> Einstellungspraktiken etwas entgegenzusetzen und gleichzeitig ein Gefühl von
</div>
<div> mehr Sicherheit für BIPOC, migrantische, queere und
</div>
<div> trans Mitkollektivistas zu gewährleisten. 
</div>
<div>Diejenigen von uns mit prekärem Background hätten ohne den Bioladen mit
</div>
<div> Sicherheit viel mehr Leid und Ausbeutung erfahren. In den 10 Jahren
</div>
<div> war der Bioladen ein Ort, an dem viele queere, trans,  BIPOC
</div>
<div> und migrantische Arbeiter*innen einen Platz zum Arbeiten hatten,
</div>
<div> während sie sich eine sicherere Zukunft aufbauten.

<div> Was wir jedoch gesehen haben, ist, dass wir mit weniger weißen
</div>
<div> Kollektivistas weniger Ressourcen haben und mit mehr
</div>
<div> Unsicherheit konfrontiert sind.
</div>
<div> 
</div>
<div> In Verbindung mit dem Anstieg der Lebenshaltungskosten befinden wir
</div>
<div> uns derzeit in einer existenziellen Krise und stehen kurz vor der Schließung.
</div>

</div>
<div> Wie überall sind unsere Preise gestiegen, aber große Ketten
</div>
<div> wie Bio Company und Denns können es sich leisten, ihre Preise
</div>
<div> künstlich niedriger zu halten, während kleinere unabhängige Läden wie
</div>
<div> der unsere das nicht können. Daher werden sie die Krise überleben, bis
</div>
<div> sich die Lage stabilisiert hat (was leider typisch ist für den Turbo-Kapitalismus, in dem wir leben), und während dieser Zeit gehen kleine unabhängige Geschäfte wie das unsere
</div>
<div> pleite, so dass sie ein Monopol auf die Kund*innen in der Region haben.
</div>
<div> Mit ihrem Monopol können sie mit den Preisen machen, was sie wollen,
</div>
<div> und auch die Arbeitnehmer*innen behandeln, wie sie wollen.
</div>
<div> 
</div>
<div> Wir haben viele Strategien entwickelt, um zu helfen, von der
</div>
<div> Verringerung der Zahl der Beschäftigten in einer Schicht bis hin dazu,
</div>
<div> dass einige Beschäftigte, die es sich leisten können, ihren Lohn nicht
</div>
<div> einfordern, bis es mehr Stabilität gibt, und vieles mehr. Das war
</div>
<div> manchmal schwierig und schmerzhaft (fragt nur unsere Rücken!),
</div>
<div> aber wir haben es getan, weil wir an den Wert und die Bedeutung des
</div>
<div> Ladens glauben!
</div>
<div> 
</div>
<div> In Berlin haben bereits so viele Kollektive zu kämpfen und viele
</div>
<div> stehen kurz vor der Schließung.
</div>
<div> 
</div>
<div> Aber mit eurer Hilfe können wir diesen Sturm überstehen! Das Sammeln

<div> dieses Geldes wird es uns ermöglichen, zu überleben. Gerade in den

<div> Sommermonaten haben wir immer geringere Einnahmen, weil die Familien
</div>
<div> in die Sommerferien gehen. Das war nie ein Problem, weil wir immer

<div> Überschüsse erwirtschaftet haben, um zu überleben, aber leider war das dieses Jahr nicht möglich. Die Summe, die wir mit Eurer Hilfe aufbringen wollen, wird sicherstellen, in der Lage zu sein Folgendes zu zahlen:
