<div>Thank you for taking the time to read this. I am writing this for my mom - <strong>Dawn Hudson</strong>. In May 2024, my mom was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer - Triple Negative Left Breast Cancer. Once the doctors were aware of her condition, a treatment plan was put into place for her, which would span just about an entire year.

<div>In June 2024, she began chemotherapy, and thankfully rang the bell (completed her chemo treatments) in December 2024. <strong>PRAISE GOD!</strong> However, there is still more to go. On January 10, 2025, she will undergo a major surgery to remove any remaining cancer cells, etc. This will be followed by months of radiation therapy.

<div>With all of this said, <strong>I am requesting financial assistance for my mom</strong>. She is a faithful school bus driver with St. Charles Parish Schools; however, she is being forced to resign by her job upon having surgery. She has also used any and all time off from the job due to treatments. She has worked throughout the entirety of her chemotherapy journey because she is very strong! However, after her surgery, her activities will be largely limited and she will not be able to work. Our family will rally around her and support her, as we have done throughout her journey thus far, but <strong>WE ALSO NEED YOUR HELP</strong>.
