The eclectic online literary journal BigCityLit has been publishing outstanding poetry, short fiction, and creative nonfiction from a diverse and glittering community since 2000. We are happy to share that BigCityLit continues to grow and attract more readers. The journal is now a member of CLMP to increase our exposure and diversify our submissions pool.

Founders, Nick Johnson and Maureen Holm, had carried the entire financial responsibility of keeping the journal afloat. Now that they are both gone, we are appealing for renewed support.

On #GivingTuesday, the money you donate will pay for webmaster fees, domain renewal, and website maintenance. Donations from friends like you will maintain BigCityLit well into the future. So, please give generously – no sum is too large or small. And if you are currently unable to donate, simply sharing this message with anyone who might be able to would also be a big help.
