<div>My name is Aya Shamallakh. I am 30 years old and I am a mother of three children. My eldest son is named Ismail and he is 10 years old. Ismail was injured very badly when a piece of shrapnel cut open his head. He almost died but thankfully doctors were able to save his life. The wound has healed but often swells up and causes him pain. I would like to have him further treated outside of Gaza as there are no longer any health facilities left operating here. Our goal now is to have him assessed outside of Gaza in Jordan.

<div>My middle son is named Muhammad and he is 8 years old. My youngest daughter is named Sahar. She is beautiful and loves life. She is 6 years old.

<div>Since October 7 we have been living a very difficult life under harsh conditions. The war destroyed my house and my family’s house, our car, and completely destroyed my husband’s workplace. We became displaced in a tent that could not accommodate us under harsh conditions, which are the cold of winter and the heat of summer. I hope you will help me save my life and my children.

<div>The funds will go toward getting Ismail’s injury assessed in Jordan to reassure him of his healing, feeding my children - food is extremely expensive here. Eg. One small juice box costs $10, and to build ourselves a small house here in Gaza. We need to try and rebuild our lives after all we have lost.

<div>The war took my sister, Sundos from me and also her daughter, my niece, Iman. They were martyred on 2/12 when her house was bombed. Her son, Fadel who is 3 years old emerged from the rubble and managed to survive.

<div>I feel so sad when my children ask me for food and I am unable to meet their needs because of the high prices that we suffer from.
