Please Support 'Superman's Interview" Production!

I am a student filmmaker in Los Angeles and here I would like to get some help for my thesis project.

The short parody comedy film tells the story of an aged Superman who was laid off by the studio, so he interviews as a food deliveryman for a start-up company which turns out to be owned by his exploitative ex-boss’s daughter Lily, who resembles her dad 100%. The tables are turned when the world is actually coming to an end. The main theme of this short film is the poverty gap, which is a universal and controversial topic in the world. I am the producer of this film, and I have a deep feeling about the gap between Independent filmmaker versus Entertainment studio, so I really love the concept of the film and I want to produce it.

I have been able to pull the resources together myself to produce my thesis project, and I am extremely grateful to have my MFA cohorts supporting me from the very beginning.

In order to improve the quality of the short film, I have spent a thousand dollars on the location with my own funds, but I will need some extra funds for production design, craft service, and film festival entry fees.

For that reason, I ask for small donations from many people in order for me to produce the thesis project and make it look great. All the money I receive will be spent on this production so I will provide receipts and excel sheets if any donor needs to check how I use the money.

Everyone who donates could ask me for a link when the pieces come together, and if you want your name to appear on the closing credit, please send me your full name or the name you want to use.

We are going to shoot on Nov 16th, 2019, and I will edit the film myself. This is the first project that I produce from the beginning to end, and it means a lot to me for producing it as a student filmmaker in the U.S.

I will be immensely grateful for any donations made, no matter the size. This filmmaking journey has shown me how supportive and positive it is here in LA, and thanks to the internet, I have the chance to ask for help in this way. I am thankful for the opportunity to reach out to our fellow creatives for help.

In the end, if you are interested in the story and wonder if you want superman to get his job at the end or not, please support me to make it happen!

I will update this page when I get footage and I can have a trailer for you to enjoy first!
