This is Charley. The sweetest dog in the world. He has been diagnosed with cancer and desperately needs your help. We are Heartbroken.
Charley was a rescue and he came into our lives about eight years ago. He's been nothing short of a blessing. He's made friends all over the world with his own Facebook page, Charley Weatherdog.
Just a few days ago, Charley all of a sudden didn't feel well. He didn't want to go for a walk or even eat. We took him to his vet and he was diagnosed with Lymphoma.
A week before, he was running around and having fun. Suddenly our sweet boy is not OK. He couldn't even stand up. We immediately made an appointment with an Oncologist at Veterinary Cancer Group in Tustin. They tested him and said he was very sick. He would not make it without treatment. We were crying and devistated. But learned that with chemo, he has an 80 to 90 percent chance of remission.
In remission he could get another year of life that we could spend loving and spoiling him. Time is of the essence so they started work on him right away. Eight hours later, after his first chemo, he already felt a little bit better. He's standing, walking and looking better than he had in a couple days.
Charley means the world to us and it breaks our hearts that he doesn't feel well. We are giving him tons of love to help his spirits. But we need your help. His treatment plan is six months long and costs just over fourteen thousand dollars.
Anything you can give will be appreciated more than words could say. We can't pull this off without you. He is such a sweet soul and very deserving of health and happiness.
If his Go Fund Me goes beyond our goal of paying his vet bills, we will donate the remainder to our local animal rescue.
