Bonnie Lynne Jenkins Johnson has been diagnosed with Glioblastoma which has been described to us as the worst type of brain cancer. One of her neurosurgeons told us his belief is that the trending cause of this is cell phone use. Lynne used the cell phone from morning to night. She and her husband are hard workers owning a little business installing gutters so she was always talking to customers, promoting her business, and building a reputable reputation.
Lynne started exhibiting symptoms a few months back, and looking back we all now recognize she was ill. She would complain that her food tasted like meal, that she felt like her brain was "mush", she couldn't remember details and chalked it up to stress. Her fingers on her left side became numb, which progressed over a short 6 month time period. She began falling, when she fell into the rose bushes she realized she couldn't feel the thorns piercing her left leg.
She was taken to the emergency room Sunday night 2/11/18 and within 2 hours we were told how massive her tumor was. She received brain surgery on Thursday 2/15/18 to alleviate some of the pressure the tumor was creating. She is having difficulty with the left side of her body. Her vision, hearing, feeling, and ability to walk has been detrimentally affected.
She is currently in ICU in Critical Condition. She is scheduled to go to a rehab center to continue healing. The plan is for her to receive 30 days of Radiation Treatments and the to Rehab to learn to walk again. We are prayerfully by her side and need support.
Lynne does have insurance, but with a very high deductible and staggering max out of pocket expenses. We are starting this GO FUND ME as a way to ease this burden of medical expenses and her inability to work.
Lynne is a fun-loving spicy redhead that never slowed down. She loves God. We hear her pray, but not for herself, but for her family and friends and calls them by name. She really wants to get the message out to use earbuds with cell phones. Please help her do that by sharing this post.
