Please help with vet bills for my pup

I had to rehome Luke do to  us not being able to have him in our rental home. Our old rental house was infested with mold. The only house we could qualify for was a pit bull free home... he came back home tonight with about 4 inches of bloody tissue and bone sticking out of the tip of this tail and about an once of it had been cut off... his vet bill for a full amputation is $325 and we’re having a hard time with the holidays and would really appreciate any help we can get. We tried to apply for care credit and got turned down... any donation would be greatly appreciated. We plan to to legal action on the people that did this to my poor baby
