<div><strong>:UPDATE:</strong>
</div>
<div>Most of her bills have been paid. However, the emergency vet bills still need to be covered. So, the remaining amount due is <strong>$1,100</strong>.

<div>The sweet girl in the photo is Kirye. I raised her since she was 10 weeks old. We were together for 14 years.
</div>
<div>She died in my arms.
</div>
<div>Her passing was unexpected, and I need help covering her final vet bills.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>She had some routine dental surgery. It took her some time to eat comfortably again, but she seemed to be recovering well. She loved to snuggle.

<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Everything changed overnight.
</div>
<div>One night, she was eating very well and was being very playful. I thought: <em>she's finally better!</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The next day, she was rushed to the emergency vet, due to severe pain. That's when they found a large mass inside her. The vet suspected it was cancer, but there wasn't a chance to test further.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>They gave her some medicine and sent her home. She stopped eating, and barely drank any water. Two days later, she was gone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The sudden loss is heartbreaking beyond words.
</div>

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Kirye's life was priceless. But the veterinary bills added up to $3,000. This includes:
</div>
<ul>
<li>surgery and anesthesia
</li>
<li>blood work and x-rays
</li>
<li>medications/treatments
</li>
<li>emergency vet care
</li>
<li>euthanasia
</li>
<li>and cremation services.
</li>
</ul>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Losing her is beyond devastating. She was all I had, and the cost is more than I can handle alone.
</div>

<div>Donations will go towards paying her final vet bills.
