Please Help Willow Banks Students Get A Classroom

Donation protected
Hello,

We are Willow Banks Forest School, an alternative provision for children -primarily SEN- who cannot access mainstream education full time.

We have recently moved to Wincanton on the Dorset/Somerset border, and our aim is to become Ofsted registered and to continue to provide a vital service to our students, where the alternative provisions available are already dwindling.

To become Ofsted registered, we must have a building, and due to COVID a timber structure is not going to be possible, due to the shortage and increased prices of wood, plus the delay in being able to get one erected in time.

We have found a supplier for a "Welfare Unit", usually referred to as Portacabin, and they have quoted us a price of £15,000 inc VAT to have one delivered and sited.

This unit is equipped with wider doors, so our disabled students in wheelchairs are able to access the indoor space, and be safe and warm.

We understand that this is a big ask, and we appreciate every donation, no matter how big or small as it all helps up towards our goal.

Even if you are unable to donate at this time, if you would be as kind as to share our campaign on social media, this really does help us out!

We hope that we will continue to be able to offer our students this well-needed provision come December, and thank you all for taking the time to consider our campaign.
