<div>Hi, Casey here. Many of you know my precious dog, Shea. If you haven’t, please know she is my life, best friend and I would do anything for her. Shea is 9.5 years old, turning 10 in January. I rescued her from a shelter in 2013 and she completely changed my life. Being my first dog that was completely mine, she has made me a better person in so many ways. The sweetest dog you would ever meet.

<div>Unfortuntely, these past few months have been hard on her and me. Trying to figure out what is causing all these symptoms that are re-occuring. After countless trips to the vet, too many tests, we finally have a diagnosis. She has Cushing’s Disease. While treatable, it is not curable.

<div>And while I don’t have pet insurance and medical bills are piling up, it is making even harder. To treat Cushing’s Disease, she will now have to be on three different medications and will have to been seen by the vet all-the-time for check ups. 
</div>

<div>Shea has made an impact on mine and other lives and I will do anything to keep her happy for as long as I can.

<div>It hasn’t set in yet, but her and my life has been changed forever.
