Meet Vesta!

Vesta is a 6 year old Belgian Malinois who was rescued by Malinois Rescue League from a meat market in Beijing, China in September of 2021. Where the owner passed away leaving thousands of dogs starving, dying and essentially killing each other to stay alive. By some miracle this girl was saved and she is one of the sweetest souls I’ve ever known.

After two years with her amazing foster mom, in October of 2023 Vesta made it to her forever home, where she instantly became her mom’s (Eva’s) entire world. Capturing the hearts of every person and animal who’s been lucky enough to meet her.

Unfortunately, this week Vesta was taken to emergency with an ulcerated mass on her right elbow. Her pre diagnoses aren’t great, and she’s going to require multiples tests, treatments and because of the location of the mass, surgery with a specialist.

Due to the rising cost of living, her mom, a single income household is having a hard time keeping up with what is sure to be a large amount of vet bills.

Anyone who knows Eva, knows how deeply she cares for all pets, whether it is her friends’, family’s or client’s, but especially for her own dog Vesta.

We’re hoping to get Vesta, her ‘perfect girl’ the Christmas miracle that she deserves and give her a fighting chance.
