Please help us, this is a life or death matter!

Hello, my name is Theresa. I have set up this for my son Adam and his fiance Madison. At 13 weeks gestation they found out that they were having a wonderful bundle of joy. At 15 weeks Madison had her first OBGYN appointment. During the ultrasound everything changed. They quickly moved us into another room for consultation. The doctor came in and informed us that the baby has a "mild" case of encephalocele. They believed that the baby had a growth off of the nasal and sinus cavities. They were then referred to a high risk clinic. At 17 weeks they were seen by the first high risk doctor. At that time another ultrasound was completed and the growth was extremely larger than expected. The doctor then informed Madison at that time that for her own lifes safety she would have to terminate the pregnancy. If she carries baby to 30 weeks she has a 55% chance of critical illness. If she carried the baby to 38 weeks she has a 75% chance of death. We were also informed that our little baby has a zero percent chance of survival outside of the womb. The doctor gave them a week to decide as in the state of Tennessee you can not terminate a pregnancy after 19 weeks. A decision was made and a procedure was scheduled for Monday June 27th. We showed up for the procedure only to be informed that Tennessee had already put the bill (ROE V. WADE) into effect making it against the law for the pregnancy to be terminated. During that visit another ultrasound was proformed and the growth had gotten even larger. It is now two times the width and four times the height of the babies head. And it was discovered that the baby never developed skull bones, only a cranium. And active brain matter can be detected in the umbilical sac. And they were informed now that it was imparative for the procedure to be completed. The clinic worked really hard to find us a place that will preform the procedure out of state. With it being out of state her medical insurance will NOT cover any of the cost. So everything is out of pocket. The procedure is scheduled again now for July 8, 2022. This is not a decision that any of us have wanted to make as we were all so ready to welcome this little bundle of joy. She is a girl and her name is Olivia Marie. She is a human, but so is Madison. None of us can take the chance of losing Madison too. The cost for this procedure is extremely expensive for our disability budget. So we are begging and pleading for your help. The procedure itself is $1750. The cost of the cremation and memorial piece is $295. The cost of a hotel for two days on a friday and saturday night in a big city downtown is over $700 plus that cost of gas and food while they are there. (She has to stay in a hotel because this is preformed at a clinic and not a hospital) Any help you can give is so much appreciated and we will pay it forward as soon as we can.
