On Monday, September 17th, Cathy Maguire was in a horrific car accident involving herself and two other individuals. Cathy was very fortunate to have survived the accident, however not unscathed. She has suffered multiple broken ribs as well as a broken leg, which are going to require a lengthy hospital and rehabilitation stay. Not only is Cathy going to have to physically heal, she is devastated by the fact that a split second changed the lives of many other people affected by the accident. If you know Cathy, then you are aware of how selfless of a woman she is. She is the first person to lend a helping hand and the last person to accept any assistance from anyone. She is the backbone to the Maguire Family. However, this year has been especially trying for the Maguire Family, between Frank’s ongoing illnesses and Amanda’s battle with Cancer, Cathy has had to take extensive time off to care for her family. As the sole income and insurance provider for her and her husband, her inability to work for an unknown amount of time is going to significantly impact the Maguire’s.

We understand if you do not wish to or are unable to donate, we do ask you to consider the facts. This investigation is ongoing; however, they have been able to rule out specific causes such as reckless driving, distracted driving, texting while driving and intoxication while driving. Simply put no matter how horrific they are accidents do happen. Cathy will need the love and support of her friends and family as she faces the challenging road ahead any assistance will be greatly appreciated whether you can donate or not we simply ask for prayers for all people involved. For Cathy and our family but also the first responders that were on scene and most importantly for the family of the man who passed away because of this accident.
