Hello! We are a young, married couple who have had our fair share of bad luck, from losing parents to battling illness, but somehow came through it all. We were told 2 years ago the only way we can successfully concieve is through IVF. We got married in May last year but been trying to get pregnant for 3 years. NHS funding for IVF, unfairly, is available only from mid twenties, I am early twenties, and the only way to have IVF in the next 3 years is if we pay for it. So we would have to wait almost 10 years after you can legally become a parent to have free IVF. Now, I have agreed to donate some of my eggs to a couple in a similar situation and I was told by our fertility clinic that in return we could have a 'free cycle' now.... Except its not completly free. We still have nearly £3000 of fees to pay towards it, for consultations, medication, egg freezing etc etc. With the current pandemic this is not an amount we can afford to find and use right now, so we are asking all you lovely people to help start our journey with us. We both have done loads of charity work ourselves, I actually won an award in 2015 for all my fundraising. My most recent fundraiser was a 'brave the shave' where my long hair was donated to a wig charity. Now we are asking for your help. Please please please give what you can. Any amount is greatly appreciated. Thank you, stay well.
