<div>Hi. My name is Kate and I have a wonderful partner and 3 kids at home, 4 in total. Once upon a time, 3 and a half years ago, we were a happy family.
</div>
<div>In June 2022 we had to attend a safeguarding concern regarding my now step child after deplorable actions from the mother. Rather than own what she did and seek help and change her actions, she went into full attack mode. She dragged us through court for three years seeking not custody, but revenge on the father for stepping in and making the child feel safe. She was deemed not safe for the child to be around and they now reside with us full time. Since June 22, she has made countless false allegations to police, social services and any other agency she can think of. We fear every knock at the door. We don’t answer the phone unless we know who it is. She’s sent her family round to intimidate us and they refused to leave despite the child being a wreck. Culminating in most recently, when police didn’t buy into her lies, fabricating stories online using my partners trauma to get clout. I won’t even cover the horrific years he had with her and the stories of abuse I’ve been told from various people, her own family included. She went viral for crying about an unfortunate incident she desperately tried to tenuously link to my partner with, as always, zero proof, and then used doctored imagery and storytelling, leaving out key factors, to start an online case of harassment causing alarm and distress, coercive control outside the family home, and DV. There’s been death threats from her and her following. People saying revolting things about us while only knowing one side of a story. We took out a non mol, and not only did she break it within hours of having it, she is now trying to manipulate the court system once more, putting us through hell again for we don’t know how long. She’s a vexatious litigant as our solicitors say. I can’t go too deep into detail, but every person we tell this reality to tells us to get it written into a film or series because it’s so shocking. All we did was take in a terrified child and we’ve been attacked every day since.
</div>
<div>I myself have had two heart attacks due to this. Plus my physical and mental health is in the gutter. I’ve been in a fibromyalgia flare for over a year. I’ve had to have trauma therapy and specialist adhd therapy. ( I’m autistic with adhd ) my partner is on his second round of trauma therapy and suffers a speech impediment brought on by PTSD. All four children, especially the child who was scared, have had to have therapy. Several kinds. And have outside agency help from various charities to cope with what they’ve been subjected to. We live in flight or fright 24/7. We have no ‘ window of tolerance’. No one could live through this and not come out severely damaged. All because of one woman’s vendetta about being found out. She lies and fabricates on every single post she does. Every one of them designed to batter us down that little bit more.
</div>
<div>Add to this my landlady is selling our house from under us. We will be homeless in a few months. We have no funds to find somewhere suitable. We will be in emergency housing. All the kids and myself and my partner have adhd and my son and I have autism. We are extremely vulnerable. We’re scared. We don’t know what to do or where to turn. I feel sick all day every day.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for getting this far. Look at you, you awesome lil reader, you! I applaud you!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We need funds to move somewhere away from her and the daily abuse. She claims we’re obsessed with her but this couldn’t be farther from the truth. We would do anything to get away from her. We also need a stable foundation for the kids. We need £3000 at least for rent and deposit. More for moving vans. Storage for being in emergency accommodation because finding a house within our budget is impossible. I’m disabled and my partner is my carer. But I will still need the rent and deposit for a council house. We will also need funds for furniture as we’d need to start a fresh as a lot of ours belongs to the landlord.
</div>
<div>We are also advised to sue for defamation of character, and loss of enjoyment of life. We need funds for legal advice and representation should this be viable. While she deals in hearsay and fabrication, we deal in facts and receipts.
</div>
<div>In short, we need to be able to breathe. We need to have a fresh start away from all this turmoil. I want to be able to smile again without that creeping guilt of ‘ yeah, but what next? ‘ because it’s been going on for so long now that I’ve forgotten what the old happy go lucky me was like. I’m so tired of being scared. Of being stressed. Of watching my kids take on this burden too as they’re all in their teens and old enough to understand this is hell.

</div>
<div>Thanks again. Any help is so greatly appreciated. Even a share would be incredible.
</div>
<div>I salute your staying power. you are a wonderful human. May you succeed in all your endeavours!
