 My name is Shirley Marshall and I am the CEO of the Liverpool Six Community Association, I am reaching out for your support during an incredibly challenging time for our organization. I am absolutely devastated that it has come to this and have put off sharing this news. Unfortunately, we have recently learned that we will not be receiving continuation funding from the lottery community fund and as such I have had to issue my staff with 90 days notice and they will be made redundant if I do not find significant funding . Our projects will go and I really am distraught, these initiatives play a crucial role in uplifting our community, providing essential services and resources to those who need them most. Without immediate financial assistance, we will be forced to halt our programs, which would have a devastating impact on the families and individuals we serve. We are launching this GoFundMe campaign to seek your support in helping us sustain our community efforts and preserve the livelihoods of those who work tirelessly to make Liverpool a better place for all. The thought of our Christmas project not going ahead fills me with dread and hundred of children will suffer as they won’t have any toys off Father Christmas.
