Hi, my name is Heather and I’m hoping to raise some money to pay for my dog’s spinal surgery. Everything happened all of a sudden, we have no idea how or why this happened to our baby girl. She woke up Wednesday morning absolutely fine and by the end of the day she was completely paralysed in her back legs and tail. Bella is 9 years old but you’d never think so, she was so full of beans and so athletic that given her size lots of people mistake her for a puppy. We rescued her from Turkey and she’s moved everywhere with us, Turkey to Germany, to the UK, back to Turkey, then back to the UK. We could never think of life without her and she’s been in hospital for 4 nights now and we miss her terribly. We have already paid for two nights in the animal trust vets in Bolton which cost us £419 and then for her surgery at Frank Pet Surgery in Leeds which has cost us £5000. Everything has gone on a credit card which we can’t afford but who cares? As long as our baby has no pain and a chance of walking again. Anything you can give is so appreciated.
