Support Gedney Dyke Youth Club!
Hello everyone,
We are creating a brand-new Youth Club in Gedney Dyke — a safe, fun, and inspiring space for children and young people aged 6–16 to come together every week.
Right now, there is no youth provision in Gedney Dyke or the surrounding wards. Too many children have nowhere to go, nothing positive to do, and no safe space that belongs to them. We want to change that.
Our Vision
A welcoming and inclusive space where young people can make friends, build confidence, and discover new skills.
Weekly sessions filled with sports, crafts, games, music, and activities to suit all ages.
A place where children and teens feel safe, supported, and valued.
Opportunities to encourage teamwork, resilience, and leadership.
Why This Matters
Youth clubs make a huge difference by:
✔ Reducing isolation and boredom
✔ Helping prevent antisocial behaviour
✔ Boosting mental health and wellbeing
✔ Strengthening community spirit
✔ Giving young people a real sense of belonging
By supporting us, you’re investing in the next generation of Gedney Dyke and its neighbouring villages.
What We’re Fundraising For
Starting a youth club takes more than just passion — we need your help to get up and running. Funds will go towards:
Venue hire for the village hall
Equipment (games, craft supplies, sports gear, music)
Safeguarding, first aid, and DBS checks for volunteers
Insurance and running costs
Snacks and refreshments for the children
Every donation — big or small — will go directly into making Gedney Dyke Youth Club a reality.
Stretch Goals – What More We Could Do
If we raise beyond our target, we’ll be able to do even more for local children and young people, such as:
Trips and outings – giving young people experiences they may not otherwise have access to.
Extra equipment – from sports kits and outdoor games to tech and music gear.
Special workshops – inviting guest speakers, artists, and coaches to inspire and teach new skills.
Extended sessions – offering more frequent or longer youth club meetings.
Your generosity will not just open the doors — it will keep them open and filled with opportunities.
How You Can Help
Donate whatever you can – even £5 will make a difference.
Share this campaign far and wide with friends, family, and neighbours.
Volunteer your time if you’re local — an extra pair of hands is always welcome!
Together, We Can Make This Happen
Our young people deserve better. With your support, we can open the doors to Gedney Dyke Youth Club and give children and teens a safe, positive, and exciting space to grow.
Please donate today and help us make this dream a reality.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
