Hello to all,
Two weeks ago we received a terrifying diagnosis for my mother, stage IV colon cancer that has metastasized to the liver. A great number of tests, procedures and medications have already been done or prescribed and much more is needed and although she has medical insurance, she has a high deductible and as treatment progresses she will be unable to work, at least for some time. That is why I am counting on the kindness of all who come across this campaign to help us help her fight. I have set a goal at $5,000 based on statistics from the National Center for Biotechnology Information, but even if we raise just a penny that would be appreciated beyond words.
Each and every cent will be spent to help her pay the bills and fees that have already started piling up, and I will share proof of payment with anyone who would like to see that this is not a scam, not a lie, just a plea to help her during this extremely difficult time.
