Thank you for all your support during this tragedy. On Sunday December 12th, Maricela was leaving a party at the Westbury Manor when someone recklessly crashed into her. She passed away within the following minutes. Maricela was a 30 -years-old woman who had been living in Glen Cove for the past 8 months. Maricela has no family in the US, and it is us , her friends, who are trying to get her reunited with her family in Honduras. Unfortunately, it is very costly to get her back to Honduras and will cost over $15,000.

Maricela was a vibrant, young women who was looking for a better life for her and her niece.

Although we only knew her for eight months, she became part of our family. She was kind, sweet and willing to help anyone. We hope that with your help, she will be reunited with her love ones again.
