Please help us bring Ermelinda Alvarado home *Update. Thank you everyone who has contributed so far, we are grateful. It is now April 30, 2019 and Ermelinda Alvarado, our beloved sister still remains missing. Ermelinda Alvarado is a loving, kind mother, sister, aunt, wife and friend. She has eight children, three of which she lovingly adopted from a family member. On April 10th, we lost contact with our sister in Merced, CA. Her car was found about an hour south of Blythe, CA, seven hours away from home with her purse in the car along with her id and money. We have desperately been trying to find her by contacting the authorities for help. While they are assisting, we are also conducting searches on our own. Initially, we were raising funds to hire a private investigator and also to offer a reward. Two kind organizations have come forward to help us search for her. We are still seeking more help in finding my sister. We plan to use any funds raised to aid in the search as we have gone several times now to the area where her car was found along Blythe, CA and other locations to search for her. Several family members have taken time off to help search and so as you can imagine life's expenses start to add up and any help or any resources like spreading the word, contacting the press, any experienced searchers, etc that can be provided in aiding the search would be greatly appreciated. Also, funds raised will also help with every day life expenses for her children. It is not in Ermelinda's nature to lose contact with her family and not return home. She is loyal and we are heartbroken we have not heard from her. Every day that passes, we hope the nightmare will come to an end. You can imagine the pain and agony we feel in not hearing from our beloved sister. You often see these pleas for help and they seem so far removed from a personal experience. However, this time, it's affecting my family and it's just surreal and unbelievable. Thank you for your time, help, love, prayers and positive thoughts in helping us find Ermelinda. Ermelinda, if per chance, you read this somehow, we love you and eagerly await your return home. Thank you all and blessings to you and your families. Ermelinda is 33 years old, about 110' pounds, and 5'4, we believe she may be experiencing mental health problems and could possibly be a threat to herself. Thank you for your help and contributions.
