Please Help Treat Ethan's Plagiocephaly

Ethan suffers with bilateral polycystic kidneys and has had a rough start to his short little life. During pregnancy with Ethan, I was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia which resulted in low fluids around baby Ethan. As a result of the lack of fluid, ethan was confined into a small and uncomfortable position which has left him with a condition called Torticollis - tightening of the neck muscles. Due to the torticollis which was diagnosed at 3 months old, he favoured his right side when sleeping. We have tried several positions to help with this, however not even physio therapy will improve his condition entirely!

Although Ethan's head shape has improved over time with the help of encouragement and tummy time, he has now been assessed for his development, due to the lack of strength in his head and neck.

We fully believe that a helmet will not only improve the appearance of Ethans condition, but also help him with his development. 
Unfortunately the NHS do not fund these helmets as plagiocephaly is seen as a cosmetic problem.

These helmets cost between £2,000 and £2,500 and is not something we are able to afford outright.

Ethan is 7 months now and the best time to helmet is between 4-8 months. The clocks ticking and I would love to help our beautiful little boy, as he has been through enough in this short time.
