Please help Tony and Allison get an apartment

Tony "PT" Almon and Allison Churchill met one another three years ago in Austin, Texas.  They have been together ever since and are homeless.  I met the two of them while working to document and cleanup the creek after a wave of new campers started settling in the area around March of 2020.

Due to escalating levels of trash, human waste, drugs, and violence that came with the new wave of campers, PT and Allison were forced to move further down the creek and have been living almost directly behind my house for the past several months.  We often speak through the fence - only I have a house to go back inside of.

I am trying to raise 6-months (or ideally more) of rent for a simple apartment in the area so that we can get them off of the streets (out of the creek) and into a stable environment.

100% of all funds raised will be used for the purpose of getting them into housing - or if we cannot raise enough money to get them into an apartment, all funds will be given to them in hopes of bettering their situation.

I've been very encouraged with the outpouring of support the community has given ever since I brought the issue of the creek into view just over a week ago.  This will be the first real step towards truly getting some of the people off of the street and into permanent housing with the hopes that they can turn their lives around.
