<div>Hi, My name is Melissa. I'm hoping to find good souls to help keep this lovely couple from losing their home. 3 months ago, Jorge lost his job. Jorge has been living in the US for over 30 years. He has had a work permit, has paid his taxes and even has contributed to Social Security his entire time in the US. After losing his job, Jorge has not been able to find work. He has applied to dozens and dozens of places but most places won't hire him with out having the paperwork to be an official US citizen. His english isn't very good and he struggles to learn English. Because of this difficultly, he is not able to take the test to become a US citizen. This leaves him with NO INCOME and NO FAMILY INSURANCE. His wife, Ingar has been my babysitter for 9 years. She has become a huge part of my family of 2. (Me and my son) They are incredibly kind, considerate, loyal and have faith in God. Jorge has been turned down for work because he lacks citizenship and has been told he's too old to be hired. He's 55. He is the MOST honest and hard working man. I can NOT sit back and watch them continue to get buried in bills and lose the home they bought years ago. They still have a mortgage to pay, electrical bills, mortgage taxes, a gas bill, phone bills, car insurance, etc. WE ALL know how incredibly hard life can be. While I would LOVE for someone to offer this man a job, it hasn't happened and they need the funds so they don't end up on the street. They also have a new grandchild. The father wanted nothing to do with the new baby and they are now helping to raise him. The list goes on and on. Please help me save a family from losing their home. It's people like Jorge and Ingar that make the world a better place and I'm praying we can all pull together to help keep their heads above water. PLEASE PLEASE, PASS THIS TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW. I have faith we can do this and to help the people who contribute to society in a positive way. Thank you!!
