UPDATE ON JEFF WYSOCKI - MONDAY MAY 7, 2018
Visited with our dear friend Jeff yesterday at Huntington Memorial Hospital. We know, that in Biblical times, the people could clearly see G-d's miracles daily. Now, with Jeff, we are clearly seeing a modern day miracle!
3 weeks ago, Jeff was dead.....literally and physically. Then, shocked back into life, for over one week, he was in a coma, and we didn't know if he would ever wake up from his coma. We didn't know if he would ever have brain function again, if he would ever recognize family or friends again, if he would ever regain use of his limbs again.
With blessings to Hashem - and with much thanks to all of you who have prayed and held support his family financially, physically and emotionally - we are seeing miracles daily. He is wide awake - clearly recognizes family and friends, smiles, laughs, and clearly knows what's going on!
He was originally in the CCU. Then he was moved into a "step down" unit - one unit below CCU, and now he's in a regular room in the rehabilitation section of the hospital. In just 3 short weeks, it is truly a miracle to see the progress Jeff has made!
Although he still has a tracheotomy tube to help his breathing, his IV line was removed yesterday. A couple days ago he actually was able to sign his name on a medical consent form! His nurses and PT rehab folks actually started having him walk the hallway with a walker! Yesterday, Jeff's brother Steve asked him to spell the word "HI" on his cell phone. Sure enough, Jeff slowly took his index finger and spelled HI! on the cell phone!!!!
Please keep praying......Please keep saying Tehillim for Yaakov Moshe ben Ettel.....Please continue to support our go fund me page to help with the astronomical medical expenses, which have surpassed $1 million! From the bottom of our hearts, we thank each and every one of you for everything you are doing to help Jeff. Words cannot express our thanks enough for all that you are doing! Thank you again for your love, prayers, and financial support......from the bottom of our hearts. The Wysocki and Dancer families are so completely overwhelmed by the love for Jeff that everyone has.....literally all over the world.
As this is an extremely long and tedious process, every little sign is taken as a good sign. His eyes on occasion do follow people's voices in the room. They are slowly weaning off the drugs that put him in a medically induced coma, so that he can try to wake up from his coma. He had a tiny bit of movement in a couple fingers and toes yesterday.
Most importantly, keep praying! Keep sharing so that others who know Jeff can help in his recovery! Thank you so much for your love!
FAMILY UPDATED INFORMATION AS OF SUNDAY MORNING 11:30 AM LOS ANGELES TIME
On behalf of the Wysocki family, their gratitude to everyone who has donated, prayed, sent healing wishes and great thoughts for Jeff's speedy recovery.........they simply can not thank everyone enough that is being done for this wonderful human being - "Mr. Chesed" the Mitzvah Man!
They are so thoroughly overwhelmed by the outpouring of support by individuals and families from - literally - all over the world! Jeff's still in a coma, however so far his condition has stabalized, which in and of itself is a true blessing from G-d.
If you see, the fundraising goal has been increased from $50,000 to $100,000 - this is not a decision that the Wysocki family made! This decision was made due to the **many** people who have sent private messages and emails, requesting that the goal be doubled, based on the insane costs of Jeff's care that will be needed for a full and speedy recovery.
If you have donated - G-d bless you and thank you for your love and support! If you could please share with your friends and family, and help us achieve the new fundraising goal......we are grateful and totally indebted to everyone in the worldwide community who love Jeff!

FAMILY UPDATED INFORMATION AS OF FRIDAY MORNING AT 10:30 AM LOS ANGELES
My dear friends. The unthinkable has happened!! Yesterday, after leaving work, our dear friend, husband, brother, brother in law, and all around great guy JEFF WYSOCKI suffered a massive heart attack and fell to the pavement. Paramedics used a defibrillator three times to re-start his heart. Thank G-d his is alive! He has suffered a lacerated liver, broken ribs, massive internal injuries, and bleeding on the brain. He is currently in ICU in a medically induced coma. The neurologist will be checking him today with a CT scan and MRI to check the damage to his brain, to perform brain surgery to relieve the pressure and swelling on his brain. This is going to be a long, arduous road to recovery for Jeff and for his family. I know a lot of people may not like me or my politics.......but everyone loves JEFF WYSOCKI!!! He is one of my oldest and dearest friends. You know he would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needs help. He is known as the "Mayor of Los Angeles" - he knows everyone and everyone knows him. He has done so much Chesed - so much goodness and kindness for countless people in his life, isn't it time that we do Chesed for him and his family? His wife Gayle, brother Steve, and brother in law Norman will need our help, spiritually, physically, emotionally and perhaps most importantly financially to help them get through the many months - and perhaps years - of recover. Please, I never like to ask for help, but if anyone deserves our help it is our incredible friend Jeff. We are trying to raise funds to help in his recovery with medical bills, and help his wife and brother in law get on their feet through this very difficult time and arduous recovery process. Please give the most you can to help them!! Please share this post to your friends so they can help as well.
