Please help the Thompson's

Hi so gary is my dad and recently has had a string of bad luck in health. After multiple knee operations and replacements he found himself contracting an infection in his left leg, there has been multiple attempts to clean his leg on the inside to remove these horrible bugs and infections. Multiple antibiotics and daily visits to administer medication from silver chain, but to no success. While gary was in hospital he had a heart attack resulting in a triple bypass. 10 weeks on from open heart surgery the unthinkable, the infection in garys leg is agressive and attacking more and more bone. So yesterday october 30th 2017gary had his left leg amputated upper thigh height. Unfortunately gary was the bread winner for his family and with not being able to work for months on end has stretched them financially. Cheryl his wife, my mother was working until she lost her job yesterday due to the business closing its doors with no warning. Unfortunately they are newzealand citizen's living in perth and are entitled to nothing at this stage. Cheryl will be Gary's carer but with no income coming in and bills etc still coming out things are getting even harder during this difficult time. We also have been told that a decent prosthetic will cost which they have no savings left after using it all on day to day living. So just trying to help out financially to help with some renovations,day to day living rehabilitation costs etc, even $1 will be appreciated during this horrible time.
