Please help keep The Stage Door theatre THRIVING!

To start off, I have never asked anyone for money in my life, but I am very passionate about this and here is why:
The Stage Door is a non-profit community theatre that I cannot say enough amazing things about! We first discovered this theatre when I took my daughter, Harlow to see Seussical Jr. She loved the play and when we left the performance, Harlow told me “Mommy I want to be on stage too.” Harlow recently turned 6, and this past summer, she was given the chance to audition even though at the time she was too young. She was over the moon when she found out she was cast in her first ever play, Frozen JR. The cast ranged from age 7 to seniors in high school....and then our little Harlow who was 5 at the time. As we got accustomed to the numerous rehearsals, my heart just fell in love with this place. Watching how the kids took Harlow under their wing, showing her patience, grace, acceptance, kindness and encouragement really gave me faith in humanity again. All of the kids were so encouraging towards one other. It was so amazing watching all the kids of different ages, different personalities, different theatrical strengths becoming one big family throughout the whole experience. I witnessed these children who at first appeared to be timid and shy, suddenly transform into powerful, courageous individuals that found confidence in their surroundings, their castmates and most of all the wonderful staff and owners of The Stage Door.
Another AMAZING thing The Stage Door does is allowing kids to do roles that challenge themselves, everyone is given a chance to shine. The shows are just fantastic too! The confidence, bravery, and encouragement this environment at The Stage Door gives these children literally brings me to tears.
Now that you know how FANTASTIC this place is, I would LOVE and APPRECIATE your HELP. At one of Harlow's last rehearsals we were told that if ticket sales don't increase and if casts keeping getting smaller they will have to close down this coming year. They had mentioned they even had dip into their emergency money to pay rent. Much of this is due to lack of marketing, sponsorship, and being so new. The Stage Door is owned and operated by immensely talented and caring people who have kept their day jobs as teachers and operate this theatre on their personal time because it means so much to them. That emergency money is their own personal savings.
It would be my dream to surprise the owners in several weeks, during the last performance of Shrek Jr. (which my daughter is also in) with a donation that can not only provide them with some monetary relief towards the marketing, rent, etc. but also the emotional support it would represent. The pressure they feel to keep the doors open because of the commitment to these kids and the surrounding communities is apparent. It would mean the world to them to experience this type of support and generosity from the community so that they can keep this place thriving and continue to put on productions that provide children the opportunity to teach and enhance their confidence and abilities. I plan to continue volunteering my time with photography, marketing, and anything else that I can do to help keep the doors open.
