Please Help The Sierras Get Back On Their Feet!

My name is Patsy McDowell Sierra. I had recently got help from you guys on my GoFundMe and received my back injections and got my hearing aids! What a wonderful Christmas it was to hear my babies voices again!! I can’t thank you enough! I’m able to use the phone again! I can talk to family without an interpreter on the phone!! Thank you! Without y’all’s help I still wouldn’t be able to hear!!

I still have a long way to go to reach my goal. My kids at home Lucas Jenny and Laina and I had bought a house before I got sick. I was working Covid care unit when I got sick with Covid. It turned to long Covid which jump started an autoimmune disease Lupus. Recently diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis and Fibromyalgia, pneumonia and last week a heart condition causing my heart to regurgitate my blood. More tests and stress test to come. Also, 6 bulging discs in my back from an injury last February. Whatever this is attacks different systems in my body every couple of months. It’s been very scary for me and the kids. I’m not giving up! We’re on the verge of losing the house and utilities to be shut off again. I’m trying to get insurance through the hospital but still haven’t heard back. I applied for Texas Rent Relief but they ran out of funds before they could help me. I am at a loss. 

Even trying to refinance our home. My medical bills are over 12,000. 

Everything just keeps piling up. I’m literally drowning here.
