Dear Wife, Mom, Daughter, Sister, Friend to All, Catherine DuPlessis.
Catherine DuPlessis, passed away August 27, 2017 from Colorectal cancer at the age of 46. Catherine and her husband, Scott have 3 children:. Daniel, 12, Michael, 11 and Katie, 5. Catherine worked as a full time Finance Director, and Scott is a stay at home Dad.
Catherine was a wonderful person, always thinking about everyone else before herself. She was truly selfless, and she cherished her family.
Catherine was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer in November, 2015. She endured numerous rounds of chemo and radiation. In October, 2016, Catherine had surgery to remove diseased organs and had her colon resected. The cancer resurfaced in February, 2017 and Catherine again started chemotherapy. Unfortunately, the cancer was too aggressive to overcome. She fought hard and always had a positive attitude. She never allowed the disease to affect her happiness and love of life.
Catherine's brave fight has incurred outstanding medical expenses.
