Paisley Cowans, a 4th grade student at Myrtle Place Elementary, has recently become extremely ill and the family needs help with expenses so they are able to focus their time and attention on her recovery.
Over two weeks ago, Paisley was transferred to the Children's Hospital in New Orleans and has since been in ICU fighting for her life. To respect the family's privacy, that is all we are able to say at the time. However, these are wonderful people with an angel of a daughter and they are in need of help. Instead of worrying about bills, they need to be able to focus their time and energy on this precious child. Small gestures combined can make a huge difference. Please consider sacrificing one present under the tree this year to help this family out. And please keep sweet Paisley in your hearts and prayers. She has been a dear friend of my daughter's for years and she has a long fight ahead of her.
