<div>In November 2023, Denise visited the emergency room due to severe back pain. There, she received the devastating diagnosis of stage 4 breast cancer, which had metastasized to her bones and lymph nodes. She began oral chemotherapy treatment, but unfortunately, by April 2024, it proved ineffective. The cancer had progressed to her liver, necessitating IV chemotherapy, which caused severe headaches. These headaches intensified, accompanied by a loss of balance, prompting Denise to seek urgent care once again. By June 2024, medical examinations revealed that the cancer had advanced to her spinal fluid. This has now changed her diagnosis to leptomeningeal metastases which has drastically changed her life expectancy to 3-12 months from her diagnosis,

<div>Denise is a devoted wife and mother to her two cherished children, Rowan (11) and Esha (12). Her love for travel has created countless treasured memories of family adventures over the years. Alongside her passion for exploration, Denise finds joy in hosting, evident in the warm holiday gatherings she orchestrates, where she delights in preparing sumptuous meals and crafting elaborate birthday cakes for her loved ones. Her renowned Halloween haunted house has become a beloved fixture in the Anoka community, bringing laughter and excitement to friends, family, and neighbors. Beyond her home, Denise is a tireless advocate for others. Each Thanksgiving, she generously donates five meals to families in need within the Anoka community. Additionally, her support for four-legged friends is demonstrated through her contributions to the Walk for Animals initiative. Her commitment to her career at Standard Heating and Air was evident through the multitude of awards she received over the years, including being their top sales salesperson. The impact on Denise's family financially, emotionally and being the  factotum for her family. Denise's unwavering strength and resilience in championing her family's well-being serve as an inspiration to all who know her.
