Please Help Support Outdoor Education!
Hello everyone! As a Youth Outdoor Teacher, I teach children of all ages primitive survival skills and support their physical and mental well-being through nature exploration. My goal is to engage students in hands-on activities and challenges and get them reconnected to their peers while building confidence in their independent skills. Like any other teacher, I am given a classroom and the general tools I need to teach but have little funding to acquire some higher-level products like whiteboards, specialty carving tools, drills, field guides, books, paracord and a bushcraft bag, art tools, water purifying straws, badges and rewards, and more.
I am asking for small donations to support myself and my co-teachers for the school year, especially for this year's Sky Earth event, where we will be camping for four nights, teaching children soapmaking, pottery, natural cordage, animal tracking, fire-making, and more.
This job is my ultimate passion: being outdoors, surrounded by the creativity of children in the most uplifting community I have ever been part of. Children need outdoor engagement now more than ever! Your donation will support the next generation of naturalists and stewards of our environment.
