Hello, my name is Mark George. On November 8, 2024, I was involved in an ATV accident. The ATV flipped, and I was ejected from it. I landed on my back. I broke six ribs, my sternum, and separated my right shoulder. I have been in the hospital in the intensive care unit for four days. I’m worried about how am going to be able to pay all of my bills because I do not have a discharge date at this time due to the seriousness of my injuries. I have one rib that they are very concerned with because it is close to an artery, so I am staying in the hospital until they feel good about the condition of my body. My left arm was not injured, but I have nerve damage that they cannot figure out how to manage yet, so I’m in constant pain. My job pays me daily as long as I am there. I’m going to be missing a significant amount of work, possibly 6 to 8 weeks or more. When I am discharged, I will most likely be on medication, and my significant other just doesn’t make enough to cover all of our expenses.
