Please help! Stonnie's fight for survival!

Hello,
Our names are Heidi and Rory Martin,
Our 22 month old collie Stonnie has recently been diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease which has a huge impact on Stonnie's life and ours. Stonnie's condition makes him extremely tired and lethargic, causing raging temperatures of over 40, extreme weight loss, severe inflammation in his brain and spine causing nerve damage.
Recently he started to limp on his left leg, his right leg then began to swell and then heartbreakingly he lost the use of his front legs. Every time he stands he falls backwards due his imbalance. This means he has to be carried to the toilet and hand fed from his bowl as he cannot support himself.
He is now on strong steroids which is anti- inflammotory/immunesuppressive medication for the next 7 months. In the next week he is to undergo 8 Cytarabine sessions at £700 per visit administered every 3 weeks at hospital in order to fight and survive this disease. He will also need physiotherapy every week.
The ultimate goal is to supress his immune system to nothing in hope that it will build back up forgetting what it was doing before and stop the immune system attacking the cells, tissue, organs and nerves in his body.
After lots of veterinary visits and a £5500 bill that paid for various tests and scans we have a diagnosis, we have a long road of treatment and care ahead of us to give Stonnie a chance of survival and hope of a semi normal life once again, even if that means low dosage meds for life.
The funding we raise will go towards his treatment and care and any donation, no matter how big or small is much appreciated. We cannot thank anyone enough who donates to Stonnie's cause.
Stonnie is only 22 months old and before December was your usual wild, happy fun loving collie who enjoyed everyday and couldn't wait to cause mischief.
His dog companion Coast is lost without him and doesn't understand what has happened to his best mate. We are a very outdoor family, spending every free moment we get at the beach with our children and our dogs are very much apart of that.
Stonnie means the world to us and we have everything crossed for his recovery.
