If you are lucky enough to know Stefanie, you already know what a beautiful person, inside and out, that she is. Stefanie is the kind of a woman that we all admire and are blessed to have in our lives as our friend, daughter, sister, wife.
Dear family and friends, we need your help!!! The week before Christmas Stefanie's world was turned upside down when she rushed herself to the ER with severe pain in her abdomen and after hours of testing a large cancerous mass was discovered on her ovaries. She was also diagnosed with a stage 3 lymph node cancer. She has been in extreme pain for weeks now and is going into the surgery tomorrow, 1/7/2021. The plan is for the surgeon to remove the cancerous mass on her ovaries and also the lymph nodes. Afterwards Stefanie is going to be recovering for at least two weeks before she starts an intense 3 months chemo therapy.
As you can only imagine, Stefanie and her family are going through the extremely difficult times facing this awful cancer and the road that is ahead of them. The financial burden that this situation creates should be the last thing that they need to be worried about right now. That is why I am reaching out to all of you and ask for help to support Berry and Velasquez family. Lets show Stefanie how much we love and care for her by raising some money to help her going through this!
I met up with Stefanie yesterday and she shared that the hospital wouldn't had even scheduled her cancer removal surgery without them paying thousands of dollars in advance. Stefanie and her husband Andrew just got married in June of 2020 and have big plans for their future. Lets come together, defeat the cancer and let Stefanie and Andrew live their happily ever after.
