<div>My name is Deb Mariani and I created this page for my best friend, Stacy Hartless.  Stacy is a NICU nurse and a woman of faith; she and her husband, Chris, serve the public and are always giving to everyone else, I'd like to help spread the word that this time she needs our help.

<div>Stacy is currently dealing with her 2nd bout of brain tumor. She will be undergoing her 2nd brain surgery on 04.26.23 and will be following it with radiation and chemo.

<div>Her doctors have confirmed this time she has 3 to 4 brain tumors, one of which is very large and believed to have malignant tendencies.
</div>

<div>Her surgeons confirmed she currently has inflammation/swelling of the brain and have instructed her to not work. She only had 8 hours pto when they discovered this last week so she is already off work and the financial toll is starting immediately.
</div>

<div>She lives in SC but her surgery will be at Duke (different state than where she lives) and it's 3 hours each way. She will have to travel to Duke on 04.24.23, she will be admitted on 04.25.23 and surgery is scheduled for 04.26.23.
</div>

<div>She will be in-patient at Duke for 2 to 3 days and then is required to stay locally for 3 to 5 days after she is released from Duke hospital; then will be off work 3+ months for her recovery as well as doing radiation and chemo to hopefully heal her completely and ensure there is no regrowth.

<div>She was originally diagnosed with her 1st brain tumor in December 2021, it was large as well. That tumor was removed and she had 3 months recovery (off work) as well as 1 dose of radiation. 
</div>
