I hate asking for help, but sometimes in life, you don't have a choice. After a day or so of decreasing appetite and energy, our sweet little puppy, Timmy, has to have emergency surgery to remove an intestinal obstruction. Letting him go is not an option, he is just a baby, less than a year old, and is the light of my dad's life.
Unfortunately, my parents both have incredibly limited income. They were able to use an extremely high interest emergency credit card to ensure that he would be able to have the surgery and have the best chance at living, but the payments will be unmanageable for them. I'm going to do everything I can to help, but it won't be enough.
Let me tell you a little bit about our tiniest friend:
We found this little guy in the parking lot of the Walgreens my dad works at part time. It was a couple of days before Christmas, so between that and my undying love for former Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum, we named him Tiny Tim, or Timmy for every day use.
Timmy had been through some trauma before we found him, and he's always been a bit skittish, but he is oh so sweet. Just the sweetest and tiniest dog you will ever meet in your life. He loves to bark for the sheer fun of it, it's his favorite way to say "hello" and "where are you?" and "why haven't you petted me yet??"
He loves his brother and sister dogs, but he loves my cat Bella most of all. They are the best of friends, they love to play and he loves to tear up her toys. He bites at her ears and she cleans him like a mama.
Timmy weighs just 3.5 pounds, but he brings an endless supply of joy to my family. If there is anything you can do to help, we would be forever grateful.
