Please help save my best friend Dex

Meet Dexter, my 7.5 year old corgi who is my best friend. I've had Dex since he was just 5 weeks old and he is my everything. He is always there for me and reads me like a book. When I'm sad, he comes to snuggle on my lap. When I'm crying, he gently licks the tears off of my face. When I have an anxiety attack, he just senses it and lays on me and won't leave my side the rest of the day. I have never had an animal like him, he might as well be a human for how smart and intuitive he is!

A few weeks ago, I noticed a suspicious bump on his arm. I took him to the vet the next day and the doctor didn't like the way it looked/felt so she suggested we remove and biopsy it. The following week, Dexter had his surgery and all went well. Then on Monday morning, Oct 2, I got the phone call. His mass was a fibrosarcoma, cancer. My heart dropped into my stomach. This can't happen to my little guy, he's so young still.

Last week, we met with a radiation oncologist where we explored every option available for Dexter. We chose to go with the best long-term treatment for him, which she said can extend his life another 5 years. But with the best treatment option comes the highest price. But Dexter has always been there for me through everything and now it's my turn to be there for him.

No amount of money can keep me from saving my little man. His treatments will cost upwards of $8,000 which include 4 weeks of daily radiation treatments. While I can afford most of it, I do need help with the last bit. Any donation you can give, that is more than I could ask for. Even if all you can do is share this, that is more than enough.

Please help me save my best friend. He means the world to me and I know I'm the world to him. I love this guy more than anything.
