I am reaching out to everyone to gain help for my friend Masud and his brother Emran. I met Masud and Emran over 10 years ago in Bangladesh, when I stayed in their village called Rautan. It is a simple place with no electricity and little access with the outside world, however it is one of the most beautiful places and what makes it most beautiful are the people who live there.

They had never even seen a non-Bangladeshi person before and were all feeling my hair and clothes and feeling my tattoos in wonder. They were the most lovely and hospitable people, inviting me to eat with them and wanting to share fruit from their gardens. I woke up to village children watching me sleep in awe and wanting to play and swim with me. It was genuinely one of the best experiences of my life.

Now Emran is very sick with tuberculosis and has already undergone multiple treatments and surgery. The family has exhausted themselves financially paying his medical bills and he is in urgent need of more medical care, at least another 7 months of treatment and is incredibly high risk for infection, given the resources the family has at their disposal.

I have given them a significant portion of what they need, but I could not give all of it and Emran is in URGENT need right now! Emran, Masud and their family are in need of 25,000 taka which is ONLY $300AUD!

For us lucky enough to live in a country like Australia with access to financial assistance and free medical care, $300 is almost NOTHING. But for Emran, Masud and their family, it could mean the difference between life and death. PLEASE HELP US! Every little bit counts and would make a significant impact for Emran and his family!
