Please meet 3 amazing young teens who's lives changed dramatically and drastically over this past Thanksgiving weekend.
Described by family members as (in birth order)
Krystalyn 14yrs old is studious a superb student and quite funny ~
Kassandra 14yrs old is an avid bookworm a talented artist and loves softball ~
David 13yrs old enjoys running track loves video games and at the young age of 13 is already becoming quite the casanova ~
Several years ago they came into the life of Jerry Lamar Bennett instantly stealing his heart.
After years of red tape, 2 yrs ago Lamar officially adopted all 3 children ~
On Thanksgiving weekend after a trip to spend with family , they were traveling back from Tennessee when while driving Lamar passed unexpectedly and suddenly ~
The 3 children were sleeping when the youngest by some grace of God was awoken just before his father passed and was able to safely steer the vehicle off the road saving himself and his siblings ~
With incredible courage their adoptive uncle Jeff Bennett without hesitation stepped up to take on the role his brother had taken on with love and compassion several years ago ~
Jeff has received emergency custody of all 3 children & will be attending court in February to take over permanent custody of the children ~
I know money can be tight especially at this time of year!
And with Christmas just a week away there is a urgency to help in funeral services , legal expenses and most importantly Christmas for these 3 children who have already lost so much !!!
If you could find it in your heart's this holiday season to help save Christmas them for them~
It takes a village to raise children and these children are in need of a community to become their village !!!
