Please help save Bean Town ! (Sierra Madre CA)

The response from Sierra Madre residents and many others from surrounding areas has helped to bring in additional customers and increase sales these past few days. After the pandemic and the terrible accident which closed us for 10 months, many customers did not return because they went elsewhere while we were closed. We need our families and friends to come home.

Thank you to all the friends who have come by this week. Your support has been amazing. Many have asked what they can do to save this Sierra Madre Icon. This Go Fund Me is the first step. It will allow Bean Town some breathing room to make changes that are being asked for by customers and bring our standards up to where they should be. Your donations will go to paying some outstanding daily expenses and supporting daily operations by hiring more staff and improving our current food and coffee offerings.

To this end, we pledge to bring back as much of the charm that made Bean Town what people remember. Some things we can do right away. Others will take some time. Here are just some of the things we have heard customers say they would like to see: Daily specials, Gluten Free and Vegan options, Panini, Coffee of the Day, soups, longer hours, Santa!, Taco Nite, ceramic mugs, a couple of overstuffed chairs and a low table, arts and entertainment, board games and an online ordering app for in-store pick-up and delivery.

To do this, we need funds to keep the doors open. We need you, our Bean Town Family, to come in and sit a spell. Buy a coffee and a treat.
