Please help save Baby Henri
Donation protected
This year, Baby Henry is my third foster cat that I am treating for Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), a fast-acting disease caused by a mutated coronavirus specific to cats. Treating three cats back to back has been incredibly difficult, and today this sweet boy went into heart failure and is at the emergency vet.
Baby Henry had a rough start to life. He and his sister Lucy were found abused as neonate kittens, abandoned in a vacant lot, and covered in trash and tar. I bottle-fed them every two hours, and with a lot of love and time, they have thrived. They’re very protective of each other, and I can’t imagine what it would be like for Lucy to lose her brother so young. Baby Henry is a sweet, curious, and gentle cat, and I want him to have a long and happy life ahead. The current treatment available for FIP is extremely expensive, and now I am also treating him for heart failure. I am heartbroken and will do everything in my power to help him. I know times are tough, but if you or anyone you know would consider donating and spreading the word, it would be greatly appreciated. I know there are no promises that life is fair, but this is a giant punch in the gut. If you prefer to donate directly to the emergency vet, please email me at [email redacted]l.edu, and I will set that up. I am also happy to accept any donation no matter the size through Paypal at paypal.me/carriehegdahl, or Venmo @Carrie-Hegdahl neither of those platforms charges fees.
